tl;dr: click here for my old wordpress blog
I thought I could somehow link my wordpress blog here like a feed, but i realized that perhaps that would be a conflict of interest or some sort of business competition thing, so why would that even be an optioN? I don't know.
In any case, just as background information for you, I started gracefulleats in January of 2013. It was a side college project to store my recipes, but let's be honest, it was a distraction from studying because who likes studying anyway? Actually, this probably makes sense because I was an Econ major and know nothing about Econ. Supply and demand, opportunity cost, prisoner's dilemma, and that's about it.
I started gracefulleats on wordpress, and the amount of posts I had on there fluctuated as I went from college life to post-grad life, from moving from irvine to the Bay Area and hopping around all over the place. since Baking was put on hold, so was everything on gracefulleats.
I didn't bring all those posts over to this blog because I wanted to start fresh, and I also was too lazy to figure out how to import wordpress into squarespace (which is what I use now). So- as long as wordpress lives, so will gracefulleats.wordpress.com. On there, you can find the very beginnings of gracefulleats, which will include very, very, very amateur photography, snippets of my life, and many recipes. there are many good recipes there, and some of them will make its way here one day! It's kind of nice to look through (and cringe), because you can not only see how I've grown as a baker, but also as a human bean.
and for those who have been following me for a while- the alphabet will be put on hold, but the plan is to someday finish baking through it! i was actually pretty close to finishing it (only five letters away!!!), but I also never finished many other things in life, and this will be one of them for now 🤷♀️
